DESIGN
At NYSS, we give as much attention to how a component looks as how it works. Our versatility in design transcends 2D graphics and sketches to comprehensive 3D computer modeling of parts, concepts, and renderings. If you have an idea, we are able to transform it from an ambiguous thought into a fully functional part. Our abilities are not limited to the automotive realm. They are suitable across a full range of industries; from commercial manufacturing to interior design.
Our extensive in-house design capabilities are not only essential to bringing our customers' ideas to maturation, but they also allow us to bring our own concepts to fruition by executing our own parts and components development. This provides us the unique opportunity to establish ourselves as a front runner in design and performance, devising the discipline's trends instead of reacting to them. ANALYSIS
In our minds, the design of a product is only half of the job. One unique ability of our design services is not only the ability to create, but the knowledge to analyze and validate as well. What is the point of investing all that time and effort into something unless you have substantial data to prove it will function as you wish? Can you be sure that the designed component won't fail after a certain amount of uses unless you have completed a fatigue analysis? Can you be sure you have cut as much weight as possible without sacrificing strength?
Our engineering background will ensure your confidence in the design and will eliminate the potential for costly errors of oversight in the design. From tolerance stack ups, motion studies, and finite element analysis, to fatigue, heat transfer, and DFM analyses, The New York Speed Shop will ensure your part is engineered correctly within your budget and timeframe. PROTOTYPING
The New York Speed Shop brings its engineering and design services to tee by rounding off a product's development by offering rapid prototyping and one-off manufacturing. When it comes to product design, we know what to look out for when constructing a functioning physical prototype.
With the help of fused deposition modeling (FDM) or stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing technology, we will work with you to create a tangible test model of your part or component that can be physically test fitted exactly how the designed part would be utilized. Throughout the prototyping process, you will communicate directly with our designer to create your 3D printed project. Our team utilizes its skillsets, experience, and tools of the trade to assemble your project's vision. Set up a free design consultation or contact us to go over your project.
