Founded in the Hudson Valley in 2018, The New York Speed Shop began by assisting other companies through the product design process, from mechanical design work to engineering analysis, validation, and prototyping. Although NYSS's engineering focus began in the automotive realm, it has expanded into several industries, from manufacturing and construction, to aviation and agriculture.

On top the company's design & engineering capabilities, NYSS now offers nearly all aspects of high-end classic automobile and motorcycle forensic restoration or "one-off" custom modification.

 

Located in Chatham, New York, at the very end of the Taconic Parkway, the speed shop is housed in a 60+ year old historic barn that has been converted into a comprehensive automotive facility. We are thoroughly equipped to provide nearly all aspects of restoration, customization, service, repair, maintenance, preservation, and support in-house.
